China’s car safety watchdog AQSIQ has said that 60K SUVs are to recalled for ABS malfunction.
As per a statement by China’s car regulator, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV’s China unit is all set to recall around 60,000 sport-utility vehicles in the country due to issues arising from the vehicle’s anti-skid braking (ABS) system.
China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) said that under certain parameters the ABS system is likely to malfunction heightening the risk of injury from collision.
When requested to respond to requests for comments, the Chinese unit of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
