In a statement Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said, Ukraine has agreed to the Japanese & Canadian proposal and will receive 13 billion yen in financial support from the Japanese government and 500 million Canadian dollars from Ottawa.

“These are funds to finance our primary needs …. We are negotiating assistance at all levels with everyone who can help,” said Shmygal in a televised video address.
