India Russia sign 28 investment pacts

In a statement Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said, New Delhi and Moscow have signed 28 investment pacts including deals on shipbuilding, steel, energy and coal.

Putin’s visit to India comes at a time when Russia has just commenced delivery of its S-400 anti-aircraft missiles to India, meant to defend its borders against a belligerent China, which has encroached on all of its Himalayan neighbors.
