Russian investors keen to invest in Saudi Aramco’s IPO

The development underscores a growing closeness between Moscow and Riyadh.

In a development that underscores growing trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia, Kirill Dmitriev, the chief executive officer of Russian sovereign wealth fund RDIF stated, a number of Russian investors are interested in investing in Saudi Aramco’s planned initial public offering.

Incidentally, Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to Dmitriev, during this visit, a global oil output deal between members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC countries is on the cards.
