SimilarWeb’s expertise lie in evaluating the performance of websites and mobile apps.
On Tuesday, SimilarWeb, an Israeli-U.S. tech firm whose platform helps track the performance of websites of companies and mobile apps disclosed it has raised $47 million in a fundraiser that was led by equity investor Viola Growth.
The other investors who participated in the funding round include, CE Ventures and Saban Ventures. The company has so far raised $112 million.
SimilarWeb stated it will use the new investment to expand its global footprint, establish consulting services, build next generation solutions and invest in data coverage.
“We are in a strong financial position – doubling revenue over the past 12 months – and with this investment will continue to meet the increasing demand we see for our solutions from brands and agencies around the world,” said Or Offer, the company’s Chief Executive.
