In a statement on Saturday, Britain’s Foreign Minister Liz Truss said, London is making stronger security and defence partnerships with India. Her statement comes at a time when she is on an official visit to the country.

According to a statement from the British government, Truss is slated to discuss strengthening of defense-related trade, defense tech and security with India.

“Closer defence and security partnerships between the UK and India underpin deeper economic ties and make both countries, as well as the wider region, safer,” said Truss in a statement.
