In a report, pro-Iranian Lebanese TV channel Al Mayadeen said, Hezbollah has arranged for a convoy of diesel tankers from Iran, which has crossed the Syrian border and is moving towards Lebanon.

Hezbollah, a UN designated terrorist organisation said, the oil shipments will ease a crippling energy crisis in Lebanon.

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has maintained that Iranian fuel shipments to Lebanon constitute a breach of Lebanon’s sovereignty.

Iran and Syria are both under U.S. sanctions.
