On Friday, a spokeswoman from Germany’s financial regulator BaFin stated, it is investigating Wirecard’s communication with investors directly ahead of the publication of a critical audit by KPMG.

Earlier, BaFin had said, it would include the findings of the KPMG audit in its ongoing investigation into the suspected market manipulation of Wirecard’s shares.
