On Tuesday, Japan’s Fast Retailing stated, it will be closing of its 50 Uniqlo clothing stores in the United States temporarily due to the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak.
The move comes midst other retailers including Lululemon Athletica Inc, Nike Inc and other retailers announcing similar closures following China’s highly contagious respiratory virus spreading to other countries globally.
On Monday, Fast Retailing stated, only 30 of its 750 Uniqlo stores in China were still closed, thus meaning that most of its shops outside of China’s Hubei province, the epicenter of the outbreak, has reopened.
