In an interview with Fox Business Network, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence disclosed, discussions on the “Phase 2” U.S.-China trade deal have already begun hours after signing the Phase 1 trade deal.

The Phase 1 trade agreement has defused some tension but has left some major issues unresolved.

“We’ve already begun discussions on a Phase 2 deal,” said Pence in an interview with Fox Business Network without elaborating any further.
