On Thursday, in a statement China’s commerce ministry said, Beijing resolutely opposes the 2020 U.S. defense draft against Chinese firms and urges Washington to go beyond political leanings and create favorable conditions for Chinese companies.

China is closely monitoring the situation and will defend its interests, said Gao Feng, China’s Commerce Ministry spokesman at a media briefing.
