Tim Cook met China’s chief market regulator in Beijing

China is a crucial market for Apple, one in which it has been steadily losing market share.

On Friday, China’s chief market regulator Xiao Yaqing disclosed, he had met up with Tim Cook, Apple Inc’s Chief Executive, in Beijing on Thursday.

During the meeting, the topic of discussion included Apple’s investment in China, corporate social responsibility, and consumer rights protection, said China’s State Administration for Market Regulation in a statement on its website.
