Babej joined Citi in 2010 as its co-head having previously worked at investment bank Lazard and Deutsche Bank.

On Thursday, in an internal memo Citigroup Inc stated, it has named Peter Babej, who currently is its current global head, as its new Asia Pacific chief executive officer.

According to that memo, Babej joined Citi in 2010 as its co-head having previously worked at investment bank Lazard and Deutsche Bank.

Citi’s spokesman in Hong Kong has confirmed the development.
