The deal is worth nearly $1.3 billion at list prices.
According to two industry sources, Airbus has sold ten A321neo aircraft to Sky Airline, a Chilean budget carrier.
The scope of the deal was included in a monthly Airbus order tally last week but the name of the customer was not disclosed.
Going by its recently published list prices, the deal would amount to nearly $1.3 billion although typically airplane makers provide hefty discounts to airlines.
Airbus has stopped publishing list values from 2019.
Airbus does not comment on any commercial negotiations with airlines, said a spokesman from the planemaker.
Sky Airline also declined comment.
According to Airbus data, Sky Airline already operates a fleet of 23 leased A320-family aircraft.
