Sunrise Communications said the review was expected and aims to complete the aquisition by the end of thr fourth quarter.

In a statement, Sunrise Communications said Switzerland’s antritrust authority has decided to “examine in detail” its planned $6.3 billion acquisition of Liberty Global’s Swiss UPC cable business.

Sunrise said, it expected the review while adding it expects its deal to be approved since “the takeover of UPC Switzerland will intensify competition in the telecommunications market.”

Sunrise expects a decision to be taken by the beginning of October 2019 at the latest; it expects to complete the aquisition in the fourth quarter.
