Christian Vandenhende, Nissan Motor’s chief quality officer, will now lead the Infiniti division until a new head is announced.
In a statement, Nissan Motor Co said, its premium Infiniti division will soon announce a new acting global head for its brand following the resignation of its current head, Christian Meunier.
The statement also mentions, Christian Vandenhende, its chief quality officer, will oversee Infiniti’s global operations effective immediately, until a new brand chief is named.
Meunier was appointed as Infiniti’s global chief in early January after the resignation of Roland Krueger.
Incidentally, Infiniti spokesman stated, Meunier’s resignation was not related to Nissan’s internal investigation into Carlos Ghosn; Meunier’s resignation was his personal decision.
