Subaru had suspended operations at the plant following a suspected defect in a power steering component.
On Monday, Subaru Corp disclosed, it has restarted its only car factory in Japan.
The resumption of work at the plant comes in the wake of Subaru suspending operations for almost 2 weeks due to a suspected defect in a power-steering component.
Subaru said, it has yet to quantify the impact the production halt will have on its earnings, which incidentally are already on track for a third annual dip.
The stoppage of production at its plant, one of Subaru’s only two plants in the world which accounts for nearly 60% of its global production, started from the night shift on Jan. 16.
