Xinhua’s report has not provided any details other than the the time the report is set to be published and that it will include “facts and China’s position”.

On Monday, China’s official Xinhua news agency reported that Beijing’s state council will publish a white paper on the ongoing trade war between the United States and China.

According to the report, the white paper, set to be published at 1 p.m. local time (0500 GMT), will contain “facts and China’s position” on the escalating trade war.

The latest U.S. and Chinese tariffs, which they slapped on each other, are set to go into effect as of 0401 GMT.
