BOC Aviation Ltd to purchase 17 new Airbus jets worth $2.2 billion

Singapore-based BOC Aviation is Asia’s second biggest aircraft lessor. It expects deliveries of these aircrafts in 2020 & 2021.

On Monday, BOC Aviation Ltd stated it would purchase 17 new Airbus A320NEO and A321NEO jets, at a combined value of $2.2 billion at list prices, from Europe’s Airbus SE.

BOC Aviation, Asia’s second-biggest aircraft lessor disclosed it expects to take deliveries of the aircraft in 2020 and 2021.

In June 2018, Singapore-based BOC Aviation, in which incidentally Bank of China is a majority stakeholder, had agreed to buy 5 Airbus aircraft worth a combined $553 million at list prices for delivery in 2018 and 2019.
