Indian airliner operator Vistara places orders for jets worth $13 billion with Airbus and Boeing

Apart from these, Vistara plans on also purchasing 37 Airbus A320neos from leasing companies.

 

On Wednesday, Vistara, an Indian airline operator, stated, it has placed firm orders for thirteen Airbus SE A320neos jets and six 787 Boeing jets in a deal valued at $3.1 billion at list prices.

Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons Ltd and Singapore Airlines Ltd, stated it has also purchased rights for more than five more Boeing 787-9s jets, with options for more than seven more Airbus A320neos.

Vistara also stated it would purchase another thirty seven Airbus A320neos from leasing companies.

The Indian airline operator said it would use the jets for its domestic and international operations for later this year.
