German prosecutors from Munich houses of 3 suspects in Audi emission scandal case

The prosecutors said the current top management of Audi are not seen as suspects in the case.

On Thursday, German prosecutors stated they were in the process of searching the homes of 3 new suspects connected with Audi’s emissions scandal.

While two former members of Audi’s executives are being held as suspects, a third is suspected of being partly responsible for the emissions cheating trickery, said the prosecutors from Munich in a statement.

Significantly, they said the current top management were among viewed as suspects.

Audi couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
