Delegation from Russia’s defense minitry lands in Pyongyang

Having demonstrated its military prowess by largely wiping out the foes of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and with the U.S. tasting limited success in its aims to engage North Korea’s leadership, Russia is once again flexing its diplomacy-backed military muscles onto the world stage. Incidentlly, economic opportunities, currently largely dormant in the impoverished state, remains untapped.

On Wednesday, an Interfax report cited North Korea’s embassy to Russia as saying, a Russian defense ministry delegation has arrived in Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital.

Details of the visit has been kept under wraps.
