Softbank’s SoftVision Fund to invest $300 million in food delivery startup, DoorDash

San Francisco based DoorDash, is an on-demand restaurant delivery service started by 3 students from Stanford University.

 

SoftBank Group Corp plans on investing nearly $300 million into San Francisco-based food delivery startup DoorDash.

The investment will be routed through SoftBank Group Corp’s SoftBank Vision Fund, which has already raised close to $100 billion for investing in technology companies, said a report from Recode.

While SoftBank did not response to request for comments, DoorDash declined to comment.
