With the ZR1 General Motors has high-end offerings from both ends of the car industry – high performance sports car at one end with self-driving cars at the other.

The chief of General Motors Co’s global product development stated that the company’s 755HP Corvette ZR1 super car will have a starting price of $119,995; the price of the convertible version will begin from $123,995.

The Corvette ZR1 will go head to head with Ferrari’s offerings.

The development marks GM’s entry into the elite, high-performance sports car segment as well as in the opposite end of the automotive spectrum, automated autonomous cars.

GM is expected to highlight this fact at an investor conference on Thursday.
