Lockheed Martin wins part of $499 million aerospace contract

The contract is aimed at advancing aerospace tech capabilities.

The Pentagon has disclosed Lockheed Martin to be one of six companies that will share a $499 million contract for research into aerospace systems aimed at developing new technological capabilities.

Its statement goes on to state that Lockheed is the third company to be awarded such work under the previously announced contract.

All developments for this project will be located at the firm’s Fort Worth, Texas, complex and is expected to be completed by 2025.
