Renault factories expected to hit the road running today

Thank god the global cyber attack happened on a weekend, on a weekday, there would have been a bloodbath.

A spokesman for Renault has stated, it expects its production to be at normal levels on Monday after a massive wave of global cyber attacks.

“Nearly all plants should be able to resume their activity tomorrow,” said the spokesman.

On Saturday, the French carmaker had stated it had stopped the production of its vehicles at several sites so as to mitigate the effects of the global cyber attack that hit its computer systems on Friday.
