Donald Trump’s withdrawal from TPP could significantly affect US companies

The risk profiles of tech companies, including Google, Facebook will increase if the United States withdraws from the TPP, especially in the light of the European Court of Justice’s ruling in the wake of mass surveillance in the United States.

In a video released by U.S. President-elect Donald Trump which lays out his proposed plan of action when he takes office on January 20, the United States will take steps to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal.

Furthermore, Trump has also stated that he would issue a rule to cut government regulations, cancel restrictions on energy productions, including coal, shale and gas and direct the Labour Department to investigate abuses into the country’s visa programs.
