In a statement the Pentagon said, Moscow had notified Washington of a test launch of its Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile, saying, this was a routine test and not a threat to the United States.

Russia has notified that it had conducted a first test launch of its Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile, which will be a new addition to its nuclear arsenal.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said, the Sarmat ICBM would give Moscow’s enemies something to think about.
