In a statement the U.S. State Department said, it has approved the potential sale of M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems Upgrade and related equipment to Bahrain at an estimated cost of $176 million.

The principal contractor will be the Lockheed Martin Corp said the Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
