Electronic Arts Inc has named Microsoft’s executive Chris Suh as its new chief financial officer.
Suh, who is currently serving as corporate vice president and CFO of Microsoft’s Cloud + AI group, will replace Blake Jorgensen.
Suh has been with Microsoft since January 2018. Prior to that, he was the general manager of Investor Relations at the company for five years.
In 2021, EA had announced that he would step down from his post, which he has occupied for more a decade, this year.
Company insider Laura Miele has already taken over the reins as chief operating officer, which was Jorgensen’s other role.
Suh would be Electronic Arts Inc’s financial officer would be effective from March 1. He will report to the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson.
Jorgensen will remain with the company until the summer to assist with the transition as well as with special projects.
Electronics Arts is expected to report its quarterly results after the closing of the market on Tuesday.
