Saudi Arabia warns of imminent danger to navigation in Red Sea from Iran-backed Houthi forces

On Monday, in a statement Saudi Arabia’s state media reported, it has detected the movement of Houthi forces which pose an imminent danger to navigation and global trade, south of the Red Sea.

The Saudi-led coalition fighting the Iran-backed Houthi movement said, it has detected hostile movements and activity by the Yemeni Houthi forces using explosive laden boats.

It said, measures are being taken to neutralize the threat and ensure freedom of navigation.
