A report from the Wall Street Journal citing sources familiar with the matter at hand as saying, ViacomCBS Inc is in the process of revamping the operations of its Paramount Pictures movie and television production unit under a broader management rejig.
The realignment sees Paramount Television focus primarily on making content for its sister cable and streaming networks.
Paramount Television creates content for media platforms including Netflix Inc and Apple TV+.
The new structure is scheduled to be unveiled later today.
ViacomCBS did not immediately respond to requests for a comment.
According to WSJ’s report, Brian Robbins will oversee films while David Nevins will head the Paramount television unit.
