On Thursday Barclays said, it has appointed Ingrid Hengster as the CEO for Germany; the bank also appointed her as its global chairman for investment banking.

Hengster joins from KfW Bankengruppe.

The move in a series of appointments sees Barclays shuffles its management ahead of reporting its interim results.
