Sony Pictures and Amazon Falls set up themed amusement park in Thailand

In a statement Sony Pictures Entertainment and Amazon Falls said, they have teamed up to set up an amusement park in Thailand, based on productions from Sony’s Columbia Pictures studio.

The 14-acre Columbia Pictures’ theme and water park named Aquaverse, will be open for public from October this year and will feature rides and attractions based on the studio’s popular movies including “Jumanji”, “Ghostbusters”, “Hotel Transylvania”, “Bad Boys”, and “Men in Black”.

With COVID-19 inoculations slowly gaining pace, amusement parks across the globe are gradually reopening. Walt Disney’s two theme parks in California are slated to reopen later this month to a limited number of guests.
