In a statement, the French Finance Ministry stated, French companies from the automobile and electronics sectors will collaborate and work together in the near-term in order to improve and fix supply chain glitches that have hit the automotive industry.

Carmakers across the globe have been hit by a chip shortage which mostly come Asia, especially Taiwan. Last week, carmakers Renault and Stellantis stated, they had both suspended car production at several factories as they tried to mitigate a worldwide shortage of chips.
