On Sunday, British foreign minister Dominic Raab stated Britain’s negotiations with the European Union over Brexit are positioned reasonably well, with some progress made on competition issues; however significant differences continue remain on fishing.
“I do think we’re in a reasonable position, there’s a deal to be done,” said Raab to Sky News.
When asked to respond on the approaching deadline for the negotiations, he said the talks were into the “last week or so” and said the previously the EU had moved the goalposts on a final deadline.
