SpaceX in talks to raise $1 billion at $44 billion valuation

According to a report from Bloomberg News, SpaceX is looking to raise new capital wherein it is likely to be valued at around $44 billion.

Elon’s Musk’s space venture SpaceX is in talks with investors to raise $1 billion at a price of $270 a share, said Bloomberg citing sources.

SpaceX did not immediately respond to requests for comments.

Earlier this year in May 2020, SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule had delivered NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley to the International Space Station marking the first U.S. space capsule to do so with a crew, since 2011.

In the same month, SpaceX had also raised $346.2 million wherein it was valued at around $36 billion.
