On Monday, in a statement discount retailer Dollar Tree Inc stated, it has promoted its enterprise president Michael Witynski as its chief executive officer.

Witynski wil be replacing Gary Philbin.

Dollar Tree said Philbin, who will be retiring, will continue to remain as member of the board through September 23.
