GlaxoSmithKline sells 100% stake in Unilever’s Indian business for $3.35 billion

On Thursday, in a statement GlaxoSmithKline said, it has agreed to sell 100% of stake in Unilever’s Indian business for nearly $3.35 billion (around 254.8 billion rupees) on the open market.

The development marks the British multinational pharmaceutical company cashing in late from the sale of the Horlicks brand.
