On Monday, J. Crew Group Inc filed for bankruptcy protection adding to a string of brick-and-mortar retailers who have been pushed to the brink by widespread store closures in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

New York-based J. Crew filed for bankruptcy in a Virginia federal court.
