Nissan’s China sales drop by 44.9, sees signs of recovery in market

On Wednesday, in a statement Japanese automaker Nissan said, sales in China in March have dropped by 44.9% from a year earlier to 73,297 units.

The coronavirus epidemic continues to ravage the global automotive industry.

On a positive note, Nissan, which has a joint venture agreement with Hubei-based Dongfeng Motor stated, it sees “signs of recovery in the market”.

In March, Toyota’s sales in China have also dropped by 15.9% year-on-year while that of Honda’s has fallen by 50.8%.
