According to a statement from Airbus’ spokesman, the airplane maker has dismissed 16 employees without notice following an investigation into the potential misuse of client documents.

In September, prosecutors from Munich had launched an investigation after the company notified authorities about potential irregularities involving the documents which relate to two German procurement deals.
