The value of the project includes the value of the 5 sq. km of land at the airport.

On Monday, UAE state news agency WAM stated UAE’s Emaar Properties has signed an agreement with Beijing Daxing International Airport “to implement an $11 billion project that includes residential and leisure facilities”.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of a visit by UAE’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.

Emaar Properties is slated to open its office in Beijing today.
