Tesla’s car production is an intensive environment, only the very tough who can meet demanding deadlines can thrive.
According to news website, Electrek, Peter Hochholdinger, Tesla Inc’s vice president of production at its Fremont factory, has left the company.
The development marks the latest high-profile executives to leave the company in a string of departures in the last two years.
Tesla is making all efforts to ramp up the production of the Model 3 sedan, which is crucial for its long term profitability.
Neither Hochholdinger nor Tesla immediately respond to requests for comments.
Investors are concerned over demand for Tesla cars, which saw a slack in the first quarter in the backdrop of the U.S.-China trade war.
In its first quarter report, Tesla said there was a 31% fall in first-quarter deliveries and warned that profits would be delayed until the latter half of the year.
Tesla had hired Hochholdinger three years ago from Volkswagen AG.
Tesla is expected to report its second-quarter delivery and production numbers in July.
