China is under increasing pressure to open up its market to foreign players.
On Monday, Alphabet Inc’s Google has appointed Stanley Chen as the managing director of its Greater China sales and operations.
According to a statement, Chen, was previously the general manager of Google Taiwan, a role he held for the last 8 years.
Chen will be based out of Shanghai.
