Roche announces changes to its board and executive leadership

The Swiss drugmaker’s board is seeing some reshuffles, including on at its diagnostics business, which had been held by Michael Heuer on an interim basis.

On Tuesday, Swiss drugmaker Roche announced changes to its board and executive leadership. Longtime director Peter Voser has stepped down to concentrate on his expanded duties at engineering group ABB.

In addition to Voser’s departure, Roche’s board has also announced a new head for its diagnostics division after eight years; Thomas Schinecker will now head that post which for months has been held on an interim basis by Michael Heuer, who will now be retiring.

Stephan Feldhaus, Roche’s head of group communications, will also be leaving the company in September and will be replaced by Barbara Schaedler, who is now head of public affairs at E.ON SE.
