China slaps anti-dumping tariffs on hydroiodic acid from Japan and the United States

The tariffs will kick in on October 16, 2018.

On Monday, China’s Ministry of Commerce stated, Beijing will slap anti-dumping tariffs on the imports of hydroiodic acid from Japan and the United States.

The tariffs, will go into effect from October 16, 2018 and will last five years. While hydroiodic acid from the U.S. suppliers will attract 123.4% tariffs, those from Japan will attract 41.1%.
