Chung Eui-sun role includes helping the company manage trade dynamics in major markets midst a deteriorating global trading condition.

On Friday, Hyundai Motor Group disclosed it has appointed Chung Eui-sun, who was so far vice chairman of the Hyundai Motor Co, to the chief vice chairman of the conglomerate.

Chung will assist Chung Mong-koo, the group’s chairman who is also his father to better respond to “deteriorating global trade issues” as well as changes in competitive dynamics in major markets, said Hyundai Motor Group in a statement.
