On Tuesday, Boeing Co forecast, in the next two decades, Chinese airlines are likely to $1.2 trillion to purchase 7,690 planes.

This current estimate which goes up to 2037 is 6.2% higher than its 2017 prediction of 7,240 planes.

The airplane maker also said, China will need to spend more than $1.5 trillion for commercial services for its aircraft fleet.
