He will be replaced by Michael Heuer, Roche’s regional head of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, until a permanent replacement is found.

On Tuesday, Roche disclosed, Roland Diggelmann the head of its diagnostics division will be leaving the company on September 30.

The development will see an end to Diggelmann’s 10 year tenure at the Swiss drugmaker.

As a temporary measure, Michael Heuer, the regional head of Roche Diagnostics for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, will replace him until a more permanent replacement is found.
